
Mike Girard
Mike brings more than 30 years of experience in the dental field in a variety of capacities. After successfully completing the requirements of the College of Dental Technology of Ontario, Mike attained licensure as a Registered Dental Technologist in 1975.
After 20 years in the dental laboratory industry working with the Shaw Group of Laboratories, Mike transitioned to the dental manufacturing world and completed tenure of nearly 10 years with Nobel Biocare, a world leader in dental implants.
Among his accomplishments at Nobel, Mike and his team successfully built a North American start up CAD/CAM division. In 2001 Mike was appointed Vice President of Marketing for North America. At that time he also joined the global management team developing corporate strategy globally for Nobel Biocare.
In July 2005, Mike relocated to Boston, joining two young entrepreneur graduates of Harvard Business School, to help build a start-up company called Brontes Technologies.
Acquired by 3M in October 2006, Brontes Technologies is now located in Lexington, MA. Brontes Technologies, a 3M Company, recently launched a revolutionary digital impression technology that was spun out of MIT.
He currently splits residency between Windsor, Ontario and Troy, Michigan with his wife Tina. He is the proud father of four children and three grandchildren.
